OliMed patient texts
Medical practices use OliMed, made by Olito Labs, to answer their phones. When you call a practice that uses OliMed, its front desk can text you about your visit, but only if you say yes on the call.

How you opt in
After your call books a visit, or saves a request for one, the assistant on the phone asks:
“May I text you a confirmation?”
“Would you like a text with a link to send photos of the front and back of your insurance card?”
We text you only if you say yes, and only at the number you gave for your visit. By saying yes, you agree to receive texts about your visit from your practice through OliMed, sent by Olito Labs. Up to 4 messages per visit. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Saying no changes nothing about your visit.
What we text
Your visit: the date, the time, the clinician, the address and the office's phone number.
A secure link to send photos of your insurance card.
Your insurer's answer about your coverage for the visit.
Every text names your practice and OliMed. We never send marketing or promotions.

[Practice] (OliMed): your [insurer] plan is active and Dr. [Name] is in its network. An insurer's answer is not a guarantee of payment. Questions? Call [office number]. Reply STOP to opt out.
Help and stopping
Reply HELP for help, or call your practice's office. Reply STOP to stop: you will get one text confirming it, and no more texts from that number. Reply START to opt back in.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We use your number and your texts only to send these messages and run the service for your practice. We never sell your mobile number, and we never share your number or your consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
